A Fabolous Year - 2024 as a banner year
-
From social and environmental good, to advancement in our Indigenous Reconciliation plan, to continued excellence in player health standards, the achievements were many with our partners, players and people.

Working with organizations throughout Vancouver, and in particular the Downtown Eastside, our support helped fund thousands of meals, provide winter necessities, assist the chronically ill, support newly arrived Canadians, deliver more accessible workplaces for the disabled, and continue Chinatown's revitalization.
-
implementation of a sustainable program of re-purposing discarded bedding and linens for use in St. Paul’s Foundation’s social housing programs. Through the tremendous efforts of the JW Marriott Housekeeping team, we were able to divert thousands of items, keeping them out of landfill and giving them a second life for a good cause.
-
In facilitating a new connection with Musqueam Nation via support for their summer fundraiser, embedding land acknowledgement protocols in our operations, and familiarizing leadership with the Indigenous strategies / commitments of key social and governance partners, we have taken strides towards our ultimate objective of realizing Point 92 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's 'Calls to Action'.
